DOUBLESNAPPER
Device component designed for the retrieval of the Ropeguide via single length of the throwline. Making use of simple, but clever technology the newly developed Doublesnapper allows controlledly and gently retrieving the rope guide, taking only a standard throwline length (double anchor point height).
Just as a reminder: with standard ring cambium savers, the throwline must be four times the height of the installation for a controlled retrieval, with the Ropeguide without Doublesnapper a controlled retrieval takes even eight times the throwline length.
And this is how it is done: Via throwline a connection to the free eye of the climbing rope is established. When retrieving the rope, this connection directly at the cambium saver is automatically undone and at the same time the desired connection between throwline and cambium saver is established. As a result, throwline, cambium saver and climbing rope constitute one interconnected ropeline and now the whole system can be retrieved safely and in a controlled fashion.
